This is a controversial book that chronicles the plight of African Americans in the United States. It really gives insight into American Revolution War. Freedom for some was not freedom for all. Even the signing of Emancipation Proclamation according to this book wasn't quite what we thought it was. What are your thoughts if you have read the book.
